Our commitment
We build this website with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA as the target. That standard is the reference most public bodies and reputable private organizations use, and it covers the four principles of perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust content.
What we do to meet the standard
Every page on this site is built with semantic HTML5. Headings follow a logical hierarchy so screen readers can outline the page. Images carry descriptive alt text. Interactive elements can be reached and used with a keyboard alone. Color contrast is checked against WCAG AA thresholds (4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text and interactive controls). The site uses a Skip to Main Content link so keyboard and screen reader users can jump past the header.
Known limitations
No website is fully accessible to every user in every situation, and ours is no exception. We work on it continuously, especially when new content, new photos, or new interactive elements land. If you notice something that is not accessible to you, please tell us and we will fix it.

We test our own code against WCAG 2.1 AA, but we do not control the accessibility of those third party services. If a specific third party element blocks you, please still let us know and we will find a workaround.
